Comments: Imaged Jupiter July 5th in variable seeing, have goodish 685nm IR and Methane data covering the hemisphere preceding the GRS but R, G and B data were all abysmal. I note a v-small red oval on the edge of the NPR just past the CM toward the P limb. A series of compact dark spots are aligned across the NNTeB. The NEB and EZ appear quite disturbed. There is considerable structure resolved across the Northern half of the SEB. The region around Oval BA is well resolved with a prominent small red oval below it. The Methane data also resolves a large bright feature toward the F limb in the NEB along with a bright spot in the Northern half of the SEB just to the F side of the CM.
