Comments: Imaged Saturn Sept 21st targeting the 2010 GWS AV, had good seeing covering 63 minutes of Saturn rotation. Have well resolved the AV which I measure to be at approx Lat+41.6 L3 307.1. A mid latitude bright spot is resolved at approx Lat+29.4 L3 278.8. A quite intriguing phenomenon that I have not previously seen at Saturn is seen on the EZ / NEB border. A very prominent short wavelength high amplitude ripple / wave is resolved impinging well up into the NEB. The ripple / wave seems to be acting as if it were a vortex which is influencing the entire width of the NEB. The NEB has a very thin white band of cloud running along the centre of it and the whole NEB and thin band of cloud is being deflected up and over the peak of the ripple / wave / vortex. The ripple is at approx Lat+14.7 L1 282.8
